The SST Process Authoring is a
rapid deployment solution accelerator technology which empowers
administrators to model, deploy, manage and improve an end-to-end
process management solution.
Simply, the framework re-configures its software in the process of
defining what and how you do things.
"I believe our industry has a
responsibility, and an opportunity, to dramatically simplify the
computing environment by seamlessly weaving together all of the devices,
services and multiple layers of software into a coherent, efficiently
managed technology framework" Steve Ballmer
The Industry Impact of
Process Authoring
Ultimately, the economic
realities of authoring versus the complexity, risk, and costs of
software development for managing the business of doing business
will determine it's wide acceptance.
A 75 % reduction in
time of delivery is the result of:
- no classic software development

management information visibility
SofScience
Technologies
The
Microsoft partnership with SofScience Technologies began with a
substantial investment to deliver a pilot of the BPKM solution
technology. Built to leverage the new InfoPath XML form technology and
Office 2003's new XML technology, the BPKM framework supplies the
compelling reason to upgrade.
The October 2003 announcement of Office 2003 and InfoPath
in coincided with the completion of the BPKM framework's development.
By December 2003 SST successfully delivered The Global Justice Solution
Accelerator pilot to the FBI Joint Drug Intelligence Group.
Since then, SST has worked closely with Microsoft to
develop new application scenarios that add value to the Microsoft
Windows 2003 platform and Microsoft Office 2003 system in both the US
and Europe.
